Arsenal are working on signing a number of targets in the summer transfer window in an attempt to build on from their scintillating 2022/23 season. Signing West Ham captain Declan Rice is the priority, football.london understands, while acquiring more depth in midfield and defence is also seen as an important task.
Defensively, some of Arsenal's targets include Marc Guehi, Edmond Tapsoba, Mohamed Simakan, Ivan Fresneda and Joao Cancelo. Advanced discussions are yet to begin for any player but two of those names being Arsenal players come the end of the summer window is certainly a possibility.
Galatasaray star Sacha Boey has also been mentioned in the conversation of defenders linked with Arsenal, however that move appears to currently have no foundations to it.
Daily Express writer Ryan Taylor posted the latest update regarding Boey on Twitter: "Arsenal have not bid or engaged in talks for Galatasaray full-back Sacha Boey. Not an active target, to my understanding. There is interest from other Premier League clubs, however."
Boey enjoyed a title-winning campaign in Turkey with Galatasaray and his performances appear to have alerted Premier League sides. However, club director Cenk Ergun has revealed nothing formal has come through the door of the Turkish champions just yet.
Speaking to Radyospor, he said: "There are currently no official offers for Sacha Boey, Abdülkerim Bardakcı and Sacha Boey that have reached us." Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has also weighed in on the Boey discussion revealing his price tag for the summer window.

He wrote on Twitter: "Arsenal have not made any proposal for Sacha Boey at this stage, despite reports. Been told there was no meeting with his new agents, just one of many players appreciated but not a negotiation as things stand. Galatasaray want more than €20m for their right back."
