JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Gabriel Santos spoke to the media ahead of UFC on ABC 5 at Wednesday’s media day with reporters.
Santos (10-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) answered questions from MMA Junkie and other media members ahead of his featherweight bout with David Onama (10-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) about the matchup, suffering his first-career loss to Lerone Murphy in his UFC debut, and more.
“He’s a tough guy, a warrior like myself, a fighter,” Santos told MMA Junkie and other reporters through an interpreter Wednesday at UFC on ABC 5 media day. “Never underestimate your opponent, but I really try to focus on myself during training camp… it’s gonna finish before the last round.”
UFC on ABC 5 takes place Saturday at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The main card airs on ABC following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
