Arsenal's impressive start to the Premier League season shows little sign of slowing down, with the Gunners overcoming their toughest test so far against rivals Tottenham in the North London Derby. Goals from Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka gave them all three points and kept the side top of the Premier League.
It's led to many continuing the theme of discussing Mikel Arteta's men as potential title challengers this season, with the hopes of toppling Manchester City. The Spaniard was coy on such talk though, leaving it up for others to discuss that while he focuses on game to game.
The initial aim for the Gunners may likely be to make a return to the Champions League first, having narrowly missed out on the top four last season. It's left the club without the revenue they could generate from the competition compared to their rivals, but securing it this time around would prove a step in the right direction after another summer of heavy investment.

It could also prove important to keeping some players on board with contracts that are dwindling, with the likes of Bukayo Saka and William Saliba entering their final two-years of a deal, with ambitions of competing at the very top. The club are also in a similar position with Gabriel Martinelli.
The Brazilian has continued to progress in the first-team, adding end product to his otherwise very direct and tricky skillset that has caused plenty of opposition issues. The 21-year-old also has less than two-years on his deal, though there may be less concerns over his due to the club having the option of an extra year.
The Daily Mail report that Arsenal could get the discussions started with Martinelli on a new deal soon. However, a double career dream of the youngster could prove to be a key factor in the Gunners keeping hold of him for the future beyond his current contract at the club.
When asked in a Twitter Q&A whether he'd prefer to win the Champions League or the World Cup, he simply replied with: "Both."
It keeps the question firstly of whether Arsenal can make their return to the top continental competition and secondly whether Martinelli can force his way into the Brazil squad regularly - having missed out on the most recent international squad. If neither can be done at the club, it could leave the door open for a potential transfer away, with his current deal continuing to dwindle.
