The defeat for Arsenal in the north London derby went from bad to worse for Mikel Arteta. Gabriel Magalhaes was substituted in the second half of the against Tottenham after appearing to damage his hamstring. The Brazilian fell to the floor and clutched his upper leg as Arsenal fans dreaded the worst ahead of their two final fixtures.
Rob Holding was sent off earlier in the match, meaning that Arsenal finished the game with no central defenders on the pitch. Ben White was not introduced after missing the last two matches with injury.
Arsenal will travel to Newcastle on Monday night without Holding or Gabriel to choose from if the Brazilian's injury is deemed serious.

The Gunners came out disappointing 3-0 losers against Spurs, meaning the race for top four is still open with two matches remaining.
Arteta's side will have to travel to St James Park, and host Everton at the Emirates. Spurs host Burnley before traveling to already relegated Norwich.
