Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has previously given a glowing review of Mikel Arteta as he continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arteta is keen to keen to expand their squad in what could be one of the most important transfer windows in his tenure yet. And the club's technical director Edu confirmed he is 'excited' for the club's plans ahead of next season.
"The budget we used last summer, we prefer to use it to rebalance the squad, there was no point in hiring one or two players [in January], the squad was not prepared to absorb two players, we needed to rebalance the squad," Edu told ESPN Brasil. "Maybe next season we can go to one or two players.
