Gabriel Jesus has seen his Arsenal transfer links continue to build ever since the news broke of the Gunners’ interest in April. Since the end of the season, the lack of movement has seen frustration begin to grow.
Arsenal have notoriously been frustratingly slow in the window with some deals. Three of the summer signings made in 2021 came after the season had already started and the subsequent January window saw no additions arrive after a failed pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic.
Therefore, with the likes of Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur pulling in signings already this summer, the frustration has started early. That said, Arsenal supporters have been given a reason for the delay by the priority striker target.
