Gabby Jeffery is the focus of a major 'regret' from fellow Love Island star Scott van der Sluis, with the footballer sharing he wished he'd kept her in the villa after Casa Amor.
Gabby was one of six Casa bombshells sent packing last week, as the annual twist came to an end for another year. The Gateshead creative assistant had become a hit with viewers, who were hoping she may have been picked by Scott or Sammy to stay on Love Island a bit longer; however, in the end Sammy picked Amber Wise and Scott stayed loyal to Catherine, only to see her walk back into the main villa hand in hand with new boy Elom.
Scott and Catherine have clashed since her return to Casa Amor, with him left out in the cold as she builds her connection with Elon and, during Monday's Love Island, fans saw Scott confide in another bombshell, Abi, that he wished he'd pursued Gabby more. In a chat away from their fellow Islanders, Scott, ex of former Islander, Paige Thorne, said: "I was having the best time of my life before Casa. You can't regret what you did at the time, because it was right at the time; but in hindsight now, I wish I had gone for Gabby, I wish I brought her back."

He continued: "I never actually like went for it in our conversations. We sat down and it was just like normal conversation, I never tried to flirt or anything, I never put any flirt in it."
When quizzed about a potential connection with Scott after being dumped, Gabby said: "Scott was in my top three before I even headed in there, so I had my eye on him. Scott couldn't give me 100% but wanted 100% from me. I felt he wanted a lot from me, but wasn’t willing to give it back. "
Interestingly enough, by the end of Monday's episode of Love Island, after he'd spoken to her about his regret over Gabby, viewers then saw Scott flirting with Abi, telling her he'd be open to starting something with her.
