The United States and its fellow G7 countries plan to step up efforts to end the war in Ukraine by increasing pressure on Russia.
The G7 leaders released a statement early on Wednesday by leaders from their summit in the French town of Évian.
The Group of Seven said it would strengthen sanctions on Russia, including measures targeting the oil and gas sectors, while increasing deliveries of air defence capabilities, additional systems and interceptors, as well as long-range weapons to Ukraine.
