Future of News Inquiry To Investigate Effect of AI on UK News Media Houses

The Future of News Inquiry launched by the Communications and Digital Committee of the House of Lords wants to ensure that UK news media houses aren't moving away from news content like US tech platforms and find out ways how to build trust in news ahead of the elections and in the long term for the next five years. As Britain gets closer to the general elections, the importance of trustworthy news portals is increasing, and, to ensure that, the UK parliament has launched a future of news inquiry.

The House of Lords' Communications and Digital Committee has launched a new inquiry regarding the future of news in the UK to determine the effect of new technologies like generative AI and tech platforms on UK media houses.
