Holidaymakers are causing mayhem by dumping their cars on residential streets to dodge airport parking charges.
Residents of Hale Road and Hale Drive say the area has become a preferred drop-off point for many of those travelling to and from nearby Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with vehicles left outside homes for hours on end.
The issue has become so bad in recent times that those living in the area say drivers have started parking on the central reservation, on double yellow lines and blocking driveways, the Liverpool Echo reports.
