A woman was left fuming when her family was moved to different flights after Aer Lingus cancelled the original flight.
Taking to Twitter, she revealed that following the cancellation, Aer Lingus put four of her family members on four different flights across different days. Aer Lingus has come under fire after dozens of flights have been cancelled over the last few days.
Additionally, the woman said that she paid the airline nearly €14 for her seat which has not been applied to the new flight. She said: "OK, Aer Lingus cancelling a flight is one thing.

"Moving the four members of my family to different flights across different days is not ok. I also paid Aer Lingus €13.99 for my seat and they seem to have kept that and not applied it to my new flight."
An Aer Lingus spokesperson apologised for the changes to her flight. In a reply to her tweet, they said: "Hi Lorna, apologies for the changes to your flight. Please message us with the booking details and we can check other availability."
Aer Lingus has blamed the recent cancellations due to a spike in Covid-19 Cases amongst staff. The following flights departing from Dublin have been cancelled today:
- EI154 to London LHR
- EI174 to London LHR
- EI336 to Berlin
- EI184 to London LHR
Additionally, following Aer Lingus flights scheduled to arrive at Dublin Airport have been cancelled:
- EI155 from London LHR
- EI393 from Hamburg
- EI175 from London LHR
- EI337 from Berlin
