Investigators have made further arrests after a Mayfield gathering that sparked chaotic scenes and condemnation from Newcastle police.
Police executed a search warrant in Jesmond about 1pm on Thursday in relation to a Mayfield skate park gathering almost two weeks ago.
Officers were called to Mayfield on Sunday June 14 after reports of a large gathering.
Police say they arrived to find 150 to 200 people in the park, with another 30 to 40 riding unregistered trail bikes in surrounding streets and parkland.
Two unregistered motorbikes were seized on the day, and local streets were closed due to safety fears.
Investigators established Operation Horizon to investigate, with further inquiries leading them to conduct Thursday's search in Jesmond.
The search allegedly uncovered a slingshot, taser, knuckledusters, an extendable baton, a flick knife, fireworks, 1.13 grams of methamphetamine, 26.63 grams of cocaine, 250ml of cannabis resin, 157 grams of cannabis leaf and $3500 cash.
Three men aged 35, 32 and 30 were arrested at the property.
They were taken to Waratah Police Station following the search.
35-year-old Jake Sutton was charged with five offences related to the Mayfield gathering. They included destroying or damaging property, driving recklessly or furiously or in a dangerous manner, driving while disqualified, rioting and using violence to cause fear.
The man will also face 21 charges unrelated to Mayfield, including 17 counts of driving while disqualified, breaking and entering, and driving a stolen vehicle.
The 30-year-old man, Jacob James, was charged with three offences unrelated to Mayfield: aggravated break and enter with intent, cultivating a prohibited plant, and possessing stolen goods.
Both men were refused bail to face court on Friday, June 26.
Sutton was refused bail to face court again in July, while James was granted conditional bail.
James' matter is expected to return to court in August.
The 32-year-old was charged with 11 offences unrelated to the Mayfield incident.
