A furious customer has slammed a pub on TripAdvisor after they had to call 72 times to complain about a cold breakfast. The diner claims they tried to get in touch with Brindley Farm in Eturia, Staffordshire, dozens of times over 10 days to discuss the Just Eat order.
They said that their food arrived cold, the toast was brown bread and not white like requested, the egg had no yolk and a drink was missing. Posting to the review site, the patron wrote: "The customer service here is a disgrace. I'm out of pocket - and no closer, 10 days later, to solving my order."
Brindley Farm has 1,470 TripAdvisor reviews, including 761 'excellent' reviews and 191 'terrible' reviews. The venue has since advised the customer to take their grievance to Just Eat, Birmingham Live reports.
In response to the review, the venue said: "It's disappointing to hear about your difficulty getting through on the phone. Please accept our apologies for this. As far as your order is concerned, Brindley Farm cannot refund Just Eat orders - this should be done by them.
"We are sorry your order wasn't fulfilled as it should have been and that you were dissatisfied with your breakfast as this is not our usual standard.
"Please contact Just Eat which will be able to refund you in full."
