Furious Tesco customer fires object at staff member as gardai called to Cork store

A man was arrested after firing objects at staff at a Tesco in Cork earlier this month.

A video shows the irate individual with alcohol in his hand shouting and appearing to throw an object straight at a female staff member after she told him to "stop".

Stunned onlookers watch as the customer causes a scene in the busy city centre store, roaring "f*** off" at one member of staff.

The man was told to stop multiple times by staff and customers before a number of individuals approached him in an attempt to calm the situation.

Gardai confirmed they were called to Tesco on Paul Street in the city centre where they arrested a man on January 7.

They were later released without charge.
