Yuvraj Singh, the brand ambassador of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, wants to see "one of his closest friends in cricket" Rohit Sharma wearing a World Cup medal as captain.

Yuvraj, who is in the US to promote the T20 World Cup and also attended the Miami Formula One Grand Prix, played a key role in India's World Cup triumphs in T20Is (2007) and ODIs (2011). He was, in fact, the 'Player of the Tournament' in the 2011 ODI World Cup, which India won under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
