In the clip Osman tries to hide his laughter as he says to contestant Billy: "I have good news for you, which is you've just made £250 from It'll Be Alright On The Night." he jokes. Richard confirmed in his tweets in February that Billy really did make money from the moment.

Actress Sophia Myles saying Bill Haley was Justin Bieber

In 2020, Thunderbirds and Transformers actress Sophia Myles starred on the celebrity version of the quiz show alongside actor David Graham. Contestant gives wrong answer and her friend's reaction says it all

Even if you're not a regular viewer to the daytime quiz show, you're bound to have seen this clip floating around on social media. Two friends appeared on the show and when one gave the answer Paris to 'Countries that end with two consonants' her friend's reaction was priceless.

Alexander Armstrong's shock reaction to being a Pointless answer

Alexander thought a contestant was paying him a compliment when she gave his name as the answer to "Artists who featured in the Top 40 biggest albums of 2015'. "That's a very expensive way of flattering me but thank you," he said to Linda before later finding out he was in fact a Pointless answer! The host was gobsmacked as Richard joke: "Eminem who?".

Antony Worrall Thompson guesses a correct answer worth 100 points in Pointless first

The celebrity chef had a Pointless first when he appeared on the show back in 2013 alongside TV personality and chef Rustie Lee. He answered a movie question correctly but scored 100 points. Fellow celebrities laughed out loud whilst Alexander said: "I don't think I've ever seen that before. I think that's Pointless history!".
