In the village of Meis El Jabal, located in southern Lebanon, a somber scene unfolded as mourners bid farewell to a family that perished in Beirut. As a symbol of respect and remembrance, rice was thrown over the coffins of the deceased, following a tradition that honors martyrdom. Among the victims were at least two women and two young girls, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the violence.

The circumstances surrounding the family's presence in Beirut remain unclear. It is uncertain whether they were residents of the city or had sought refuge there to escape the relentless Israeli bombardment targeting southern Lebanon.
