Funderworld is returning to Hengrove Park this summer. The funfair has announced that it will be setting up at the south Bristol park from July 8 to 31.
Funderworld last appeared at Hengrove Park in the summer of 2021, after it moved from its usual spot at Durdham Downs due to delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The theme park was set up at the Downs over the most recent Easter period, but on its official website it has announced its return to south Bristol.
There will be over 25 rides and attractions on offer for all age ranges, and a variety of food stalls will also be available. Funderworld's Facebook page says that tickets are on sale now, with wristbands giving you up to four hours unlimited riding.

The Funderworld website says: "Children's attractions plus a whole host of other fun things to do makes Funderworld the UK’s largest mobile Theme Park. Our 2022 events promise as always to be packed with fun, unique thrill rides and rollercoasters along with traditional funfair favourites including the waltzer and dodgem cars.
"All ages are catered for there’s an awesome line up for the kids including exciting children’s rides, giant inflatables, funhouse and bungee trampolines. Try your luck and your skill with a huge array of game stalls, whether you like to hook a duck or knock the cans of the shelf there is plenty to choose from. Our food court delivers a large variety of fast food at its finest."
Wristbands can be bought at the venue but Funderworld's website says that they are cheaper online. The 'tots' wristband' can be bought from £7.99, allowing access to all of the children's rides.
There are two wristbands for older people - the 'adventurer wristband' from £12.99 which allows access to 17 rides, and the 'thrill seeker wristband' from £16.99. The 'thrill seeker' package gives you access to all of the same rides as the 'adventurer', but you also get to ride seven more attractions including the Crazy Mouse Roller Coaster and the Freefall Miami.
