March NY world sugar #11 (SBH26) today is up +0.32 (+2.21%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH26) is up +9.00 (+2.16%).

Sugar prices are sharply higher today on short-covering as funds close out short positions ahead of the year-end Christmas and New Year's holidays, a time of thin trading and reduced liquidity.
