Man moves over 5,000 miles to live in Leeds but is left disappointed by 'dirty surroundings and drug use'

A man has shared his fury after moving 5000 miles to Leeds and being left "disappointed" by "dirty" surroundings.

Mark A, who is from Sao Roque in Brazil, moved over to the Yorkshire city when his wife landed a job as a professor at University of York. The pair planned to live in North Yorkshire, but found it difficult to rent a home in the area.

Mark, 44, said he had always followed the city of Leeds and the pair thought the spot would be right for them. They moved to the city with excitement, but sadly that quickly deflated.
