Emmerdale fans have once again come for Matty, as they accuse him of making the Leyla situation "about himself". In tonight's episode, Moira had to give Matty a talking to, making sure that he put an end to his vendetta against Suzy.
For weeks, Matty has been harbouring bitterness and resentment towards Suzy, who had a hand in his sister's death. Holly died of a drug overdose in 2016, drugs that were given to her by the aforementioned.
But, instead of trying to move forward, Matty has held on to a debilitating grudge and has used it to come after Suzy on more than one occasion. During last night's episode, Matty even planted a bag full of drugs - that he had found in Leyla's office - in Suzy's car.
