Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has proposed a trial date of 4 March 2024 for her case against former president Donald Trump and his associates.

That happens to be the day before Super Tuesday, when fourteen states and American Samoa will hold their elections for the Republican nomination. Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia will all hold their nominating contests.
