West Ham United striker Danny Ings will be hoping to return to the Hammers’ squad for their Premier League trip to Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Hammers head into their meeting with the Magpies 16th in the league table having returned to winning ways in the Premier League a fortnight ago against Everton.
Since then, a few injury concerns have occurred but one player hoping to return from a short-term knee injury is striker Ings.

The 30-year-old made his debut a fortnight ago in the win over Everton, coming on for the final 18 minutes as a substitute. However, in that cameo outing, he suffered a knee injury, forcing him out of Monday’s FA Cup win over Derby County, although he was cup-tied for that match.
Centre-back Kurt Zouma is absent with a thigh issue picked up in the win over the Toffees, while striker Gianluca Scamacca will also miss out, having been absent for the last two games with a knee issue.
Winger Maxwel Cornet remains out of action, having been ruled out since October 1, after picking up a calf injury on his full league debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium.
With potentially four of the 23 senior players absent, a few youth players could be involved. Divin Mubama, Levi Laing and Kamarai Swyer have all been in senior squads recently. However, Mubama played in the under-18s’ win over Stoke City on Friday night, with Laing coming off the bench in the under-21s’ defeat to Monaco, also on Friday. Swyer was also involved against Monaco.
Academy goalkeeper Krisztian Hegyi, who recently captained the club's under-21s, was not involved for the under-21s in the defeat to Monaco.
Here is a look at who could feature for the Hammers against the Magpies.
