Full TV schedule for Queen's funeral for BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky News

Queen Elizabeth will be laid to rest on Monday September 19, with her funeral set to be broadcasted across the world.

The BBC, ITV and Sky News will be leading the coverage here in the UK, with people across the UK paying tribute to their late monarch. The Queen passed away last Thursday at the age of 96, Buckingham Palace confirmed in a statement at the time.

The Queen and her long reign will be honoured in the special funeral, which begins at 11am. Many dignitaries and world leaders will join the Royal Family at the funeral, as they bid a final farewell to the monarch.

TV channels across the UK will be marking the historic occasion with special coverage, and here's all the details.

Huw Edwards is the BBC's lead presenter (BBC)

On the BBC, Huw Edwards, Kirsty Young, Fergal Keane, David Dimbleby and Sophie Raworth will be leading the coverage, broadcasting from across the UK. Huw and Fergal will be based in London, whilst Kirsty and David will be live from Windsor. Sophie will be at Parliament Square whilst Anita Rani will share the day with viewers from the Long Walk at Windsor. JJ Chalmers will be at Wellington Barracks as they all come together to mark the historic day.

The special programme will air from 8am to 5pm on BBC One, BBC Two and iPlayer and BSL coverage on BBC Two.

Tom Bradby will lead the coverage for ITV (ITV)

For ITV, broadcasters Tom Bradby and Julie Etchingham will helm the coverage.

Their programming will begin at 9.30am and will cover the funeral service, which will take place at Westminster Abbey, as well as the mile-long military procession as the monarch is taking on her final journey through London. ITV will also track the Queen's final journey to Windsor as well as the committal service at St George's Chapel.

Mary Nightingale will lead reporting from Westminster Abbey, whilst Royal Editor Chris Ship will be in London and later in Windsor.

With Sky News, the special programme will start at 5am as Her Majesty’s Lying-in-State comes to an end. Kamali Melbourne will be live from Westminster Abbey, before Kay Burley takes over from 7am. She will explain how the day will unfold ahead of Anna Botting and Dermot Murnaghan taking over for a special broadcast of the funeral procession from 9am.

Anna will be reporting live from Westminster, with full coverage of the funeral service at 11am. Dermot will be based in Windsor Castle as the procession heads from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch, before ending at St. George’s Chapel via the Long Walk.

Sky Royal Events Commentator Alastair Bruce will be on hand to provide analysis of the historic events. Jayne Secker will be live from Windsor at 5pm whilst Mark Austin will appear from Buckingham Palace at 7pm. The coverage will end with a round up with Johnathan Samuels at 9pm before Anna Botting brings the News at Ten live from Buckingham Palace.

Over on Channel 4, a number of programmes will air to pay tribute to the Queen, including a classic 1993 documentary about her coronation and 1943 Vera Lynn film, We’ll Meet Again. There will also be two extended editions of Channel 4 News.
