Full Nottingham Forest squad available to Steve Cooper at Liverpool as 10 could miss out

Nottingham Forest still have a lengthy injury list as they head to Liverpool to take on Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield.

Forest are in action on Merseyside (Saturday, 3pm) as they bid to give their survival hopes a much-needed lift. But it will be a tough test against a Liverpool team who thrashed Leeds United last time out.

Steve Cooper's side, meanwhile, are on a 10-match winless run, which has seen them drop into the relegation zone on goal difference. They suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester United in their previous outing.

Forest have been missing a number of key players at various times this season, and Cooper is not expecting anyone back just yet. “We haven’t got any new injures, and unfortunately nobody is quite ready enough to return,” he said at his pre-match press conference. “We are as we were before the Manchester United game.”

Taiwo Awoniyi, Renan Lodi and Moussa Niakhate have all returned from lay-offs recently. However, Cheikhou Kouyate, Gustavo Scarpa, Serge Aurier, Ryan Yates, Chris Wood, Willy Boly, Dean Henderson, Omar Richards and Giulian Biancone all remain sidelined.

The same goes for Jack Colback, who is recovering from a head injury. Cooper revealed: "Jack had a concussion incident in training, so we've had to be really careful with that. He's had a bang to his head - which was so innocuous - and he's had to go through the right concussion protocols."
