Liverpool are chasing their eighth straight win on Saturday as they look to dent Unai Emery's resurgent Aston Villa.
The Reds claimed their seventh successive triumph when they comfortably brushed past Leicester City on Monday. Trent Alexander-Arnold rounded off the scoring with a superb free-kick after Curtis Jones capped his fine form with a brace.
Newcastle United peeled clear thanks to their win over Brighton & Hove Albion but the gap between Liverpool and arch-rivals Manchester United remains a point. The Red Devils are away to Bournemouth in conjunction with the Villans' trip to Merseyside as both sides look to secure Champions League football for next season.

Saturday's clash at Anfield has a number of connotations around it with Villa looking to assert their European claims under the Manager of the Season-nominated tactician. For the Reds, it is a final Anfield bow for their quartet; James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian.
After playing their part in Liverpool's recent success, time has been called on their careers in L4 as their contracts expire at the end of the season.
Jurgen Klopp revealed that Roberto Firmino will be in contention to feature in his final home match as his eight-year spell in the Premier League comes to an end.
However, a toe injury keeps Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez out. The former Benfica striker missed the win over the Foxes with the problem and now faces a race to be in contention for the curtain-closing game away at already-relegated Southampton.
