Full Liverpool squad revealed for Arsenal clash as Jurgen Klopp faces huge selection headache

Arsenal take on Liverpool on Thursday night for the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.

The Gunners secured a 0-0 draw at Anfield in the first leg last week despite playing over an hour with just ten men following Granit Xhaka 's dismissal in the 24th minute.

Now, they will hope that they can take advantage of home advantage at the Emirates Stadium and progress to next month's final at Wembley Stadium, with Chelsea having already qualified after defeating Tottenham Hotspur over two legs.

Mikel Arteta 's side have been hit with a number of injuries in recent times but so too have the Reds, who will be without at least seven first-team players for the highly-anticipated clash.

Prolific wingers Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are both currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt and Senegal respectively, as his talented midfielder Naby Keita, who is with Guinea at the famous tournament.

Spanish international Thiago Alcantara, backup centre-forward Divock Origi and young winger Harvey Elliott are all nursing injuries and won't be included in Klopp's matchday squad.

Former Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will also have to watch from the sidelines after sustaining an ankle injury during Sunday's 3-0 win over Brentford, as assistant coach Pep Ljinders confirmed.

"I spoke [on Tuesday] with him and he thinks it’s not that bad," Lijnders said during his pre-match press conference. "We have to assess it day by day. I would not rule out the weekend but for sure not tomorrow."
