Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has been rated "doubtful" to feature against Fulham in the Premier League on Wednesday night as he continues to struggle with a back injury.
Jota, 26, came off the bench to settle the scores for Liverpool during their pulsating 4-3 win over Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. However, the Portugal international has not been able to train after his Anfield heroics, as the Reds now contemplate a back-up plan.
Straight back in action at the same venue, Liverpool have four certain injury absentees for the Fulham game as Jurgen Klopp and his backroom staff continue to monitor Jota in the build-up. Naby Keita, Roberto Firmino, Stefan Bajcetic and Acacemy starlet Calvin Ramsey are those missing with various concerns.

Jota initially picked up his back problem during the West Ham victory. However, while his preparations for Tottenham were impacted, the former Wolves player still managed to make a telling contribution when he was summoned from the dugout to score a dramatic added-time winner.
It was his fifth goal in four Premier League outings. Speaking about Jota in his press conference, Klopp said: "Diogo is struggling [back issue]. Couldn't train for Spurs, but played and he hasn't trained since. He's a doubt, but I hope he recovers."
Liverpool have also been rocked by the news that midfielder Thiago has been ruled out of the last five games of the season and will undergo surgery on a troublesome hip problem.
The 32-year-old has already missed a significant number of games this campaign due to a variety of issues. He spent six weeks on the sidelines after pulling up with a hamstring issue during August's trip to Fulham before being ruled out for two months between February and April due to a hip flexor problem.
