Full list of weekly DWP benefit payment rates including Universal Credit and State Pension from April 2023

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has announced its changes to weekly rates for many benefit payments.

Every year, benefits increase in line with the inflation rates recorded for the previous September. In September 2022, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was marked at 10.1 per cent which benefits will rise by from April 2023.

During his autumn budget, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt announced the changes to benefit rates, which will reportedly cost the government £11 billion. In a speech, Mr Hunt vowed to "protect the most vulnerable" with the extra financial support.
