People in Bristol woke up to snow this morning with more predicted to fall throughout the day. A Met Office warning for snow and ice is in place for the city.
Many parents started the day by desperately attempting to find out if their school will be open today amid dangerous roads and driving conditions. According to Bristol City Council, most schools will welcome kids into the classrooms.
Initially only one school in the city had confirmed closure as of 7.30am, but a couple more have followed. We will continue to keep this list updated based on the information on the council's school closures page, which does rely on schools notifying the authority.
