Full list of Merseyrail services affected by train strikes on Wednesday

Merseyrail will be running a limited train service on Wednesday due to planned strike action by Network Rail staff.

Whilst Merseyrail staff are not part of this industrial action, it will involve Network Rail staff who operate the signalling systems and provide maintenance support. Because of this, there will be a "limited" service for July 27.

Merseyrail confirmed that an hourly service will run at selected stations only between 7.30am and 6.30pm to help passengers make essential journeys. There will be no rail replacement buses on strike days and people are urged to make alternative travel arrangements.
