Popular fast-food chain McDonalds is increasing the price of five of its most popular items on the menu from today (February 15).

The fast-food company has blamed the price hike on rising energy and food costs, reports the Mirror.

It said it has been hit with the rising cost of living crisis just "like many other businesses".
