(Picture: PA Wire)Paternoster square in the heart of the City and Leadenhall Street are among the latest parts of London to lose a bank as Lloyds announces fresh plans to shut 66 branches nationally.
The closures will affect 48 branches under its own name and 18 under the Halifax brand. The company said visits to each one had fallen on average by 60% in the last five years and by up to 85% in some locations.
