There’s a great day out to be had in Whitley Bay this weekend as Feast By The Sea returns, bringing a jam-packed lineup of food and entertainment.
The event, brought to the coast by Proper Food and Drink Festivals and Great North Feast, will take place from 11am until 7pm on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August. It will be the last chance to catch the festival this summer, following the roaring success of previous festivals in June and July.
More than a dozen food and drink vendors will set up on the Plaza outside Spanish City, giving visitors an unbeatable view of Whitley Bay beach along to St Mary’s Lighthouse - as long as there isn’t another sea fret like the one that descended on the coast last weekend . Organisers are also promising pop-up bars, live music from local artists and children’s fairground rides.
