Full list of FIFA Best award winners including coach, goalkeeper and Puskas victors

Lionel Messi and Alexia Putellas scooped the top two individual awards at the Best FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris on Monday night.

Messi was named Best FIFA Men's player of 2022, ahead of his Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid star Karim Benzema. Putellas won the award for Best FIFA Women's Player for a second year in succession, ahead of Alex Morgan and Beth Mead.

It was a good night for Argentina, who backed up their World Cup win in December with an array of individual awards. There were plenty of stars in attendance, with the ceremony also providing a platform for the best world XIs to be named after FIFPRO collected votes from players.

The awards took place in Paris, with Jermaine Jenas and Samantha Johnson hosting. The evening contained an opening speech from Gianni Infantino and an emotional tribute to Pele, following his passing away aged 82 in December.
