A total of 16 flights to and from Dublin Airport have been cancelled by Aer Lingus this weekend.
The airline said the cancellations are due to crew illness, strikes and London Heathrow's capacity reduction. Earlier this week, Heathrow told airlines to stop selling summer tickets until mid-September and has imposed a cap of 100,000 passengers per day.
Aer Lingus Heathrow flights to Dublin are cancelled on Friday and Sunday, while flights to and from Bordeaux, Lyon and Pisa are cancelled throughout the weekend due to industrial action. Crew illness has caused Munich and Gatwick flights to be cancelled.
