HSBC has said it will shut 69 bank branches
(Picture: PA Archive)HSBC is to close a further 69 high street bank branches by the autumn as UK customers increasingly rely on online services.
According to the bank, less than half of its customers now actively use its branch network, with the average footfall declining over 50% since 2017 -- faster than any point in the last decade.
