A three-day weekend packed with royal events is taking place, as Britain celebrates the Coronation of King Charles III.
Months of preparations will come to fruition as Charles and wife Camilla are crowned King and Queen at a historic Westminster Abbey ceremony. The Archbishop of Canterbury will conduct proceedings on Saturday, May 6, with guests including US First Lady Jill Biden and French president Emmanuel Macron.
The day will end with members of the royal family appeared on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. But the action won't stop there - community Coronation Big Lunches and a special gig at Windsor Castle are scheduled for Sunday.

Meanwhile Monday, May 8 has been declared as a bank holiday, and the monarchs are encouraging people to use the day to lend a hand in their local communities.

Saturday, May 6
The Coronation of HM The King: The Preparation - BBC One, 7.30am to 10.15am
With crowds gathering in London from 6am, Kirsty Young presents the run-up to the historic occasion from a studio outside Buckingham Palace. She will be joined by a range of guests including friends and colleagues of the royal couple.
JJ Chalmers will chat to the men and women of the armed forces as they take their positions, while Anita Rani meets members of the public and Sophie Raworth will be outside Westminster Abbey.
King Charles III: The Coronation - ITV1, 8.30am to 3pm
Julie Etchingham and Tom Bradby present the build-up to the ceremony, the event itself and the aftermath from a special studio outside Buckingham Palace. There will be reports from Mary Nightingale, Nina Hossain and Charlene White, and guests including Adjoa Andoh, Myleene Klass and Trevor McDonald.
The Coronation of HM The King - BBC One, 10.15am to 1pm
Kirsty Young will front the live coverage of the Coronation, giving viewers a front-row seat to the King's Procession as it makes it way through the streets of London, from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. Sophie Raworth will speak to guests as they arrive and Huw Edwards is to provide commentary.
The Coronation of HM The King: The Celebration - BBC One, 1pm to 3pm
The newly crowned King Charles and Queen Camilla head back to Buckingham Palace in the Coronation Procession to make their traditional balcony appearance. Presented by Sophie Raworth, with commentary by Huw Edwards.
Charles R: The Making of a Monarch - BBC One, 5.15pm to 6.15pm
This special documentary revisits the people, places and events that have shaped King Charles throughout his 74 years. News reports, family videos, documentary footage and interviews from those who know him best will feature, with plenty of never-before-seen footage.
Viewers can expect to hear from Charles himself, as he explores his formative years, his acts of public service and his journey to the throne.
The Coronation: A Day To Remember - BBC One, 7pm to 8.30pm
We return to Kirsty Young live outside Buckingham Palace, reflecting on the key moments of the Coronation, from the procession, to the ceremony and the newly-crowned monarchs greeting the crowds.
Sunday May 7
Coronation Kitchen Live - BBC One, 10.30am to 12pm
A regal edition of the show will see Matt Tebbutt, Jennie Bond and Gyles Brandreth recreate royal recipes in celebration of the Coronation. Chefs Adam Byatt and Anna Haugh will also be in the studio, while resident expert Helen McGinn has an array of drinks perfect for any celebration.
Coronation: The UK Celebrates - Live - BBC One, 12.30pm to 2.05pm
Special reports from around the country, reflecting on how the public celebrated the crowning of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The Coronation Concert - BBC One, 8pm to 10pm
A star-studded line-up of musicians will descend on Windsor Castle's East Lawn for the Coronation Concert. Kirsty Young will front the coverage from a specially-built studio in the castle grounds, while Clara Amfo and Jordon Banjo will be chatting to stars back stage.
Take That, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Bryn Terfel, Freya Ridings and a 70-piece orchestra are among those performing for the newly-crowned monarchs.
Monday May 8
Loose Women - ITV1, 12.30pm to 1.45pm
Join the Loose ladies for an extended, 75-minute show for the Coronation Bank Holiday.
