The Oklahoma City Thunder will play the LA Clippers in their first post-All-Star break contest at home on Thursday. It’s a pivotal matchup that will determine the tiebreaker between both squads.
Both teams enter this contest with a clean bill of health. The Thunder will be without Ousmane Dieng (G League assignment) and Keyontae Johnson (G League two-way). The Clippers had no one on their report.
The Thunder (37-17) are on a two-game winning streak. They picked up a double-digit win over the Orlando Magic last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Clippers (36-17) went into the All-Star break with a close win over the Golden State Warriors. LA has been one of the best teams in the league for the last couple of months.
Both teams have won one of their previous two contests. The tiebreaker could prove to be vital as the Thunder are only one-half game in front of the Clippers in the Western Conference.
Tip off from Oklahoma City will be at 7 p.m. CT.
