Full details as public warned to expect "considerable impact" on council services this week

Council Derry

The public has been warned to expect a "considerable impact" on council services due to strike action taking place this week.

Strike action started on Monday by members of UNITE Union and will run until March 27.

A spokesperson for Derry City and Strabane District Council said that refuse collection points across the district will be "severely impacted", while all routine Blue bin and Brown bin collection services will not operate this week.
