Solomon Renfro might have entered LFA 125 with the spotlight on him, but it shined brightly on his opponent Adam Fugitt by the end of the bout.
LFA 125 took place at Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, N.Y., where Fugitt (8-2) vs. Renfro (8-3) served as the co-main event. A +405 underdog on average across major online sports books (per BestFightOdds), Fugitt proved the oddsmakers wrong when he finished Renfro with strikes 43 seconds into Round 1.
Although the crowd was upset with the referee’s call, an at-minimum semi-disoriented Renfro absorbed a number of follow up shots after he was sent spinning by a hard Fugitt right hand.

Fugitt, 33, extended his winning streak to four with the victory. Seven of his eight professional victories to date ended inside the distance. As for Renfro, the Dana White’s Contender Series alum drops to 2-3 in his most recent four. His loss on DWCS, however, was highly disputed as many scored in his favor his split decision defeat to Jonny Parsons.
