Fuerza Regida, Feid and Peso Pluma are among the 900 artists who have joined Live Nations's Concert Week, an annual initiative that cuts ticket prices to $25. The offer will cover around 5,000 performances and concerts spread throughout the rest of the year.
The list also includes Latino and Latin American artists such as Caifanes, Café Tacvba, Mon Laferte, Chiquis, Belanova, Pepe Aguilar and Grupo Firme. Even Los Bukis are getting in on the act, including their historic Vegas residency in the initiative.
The rest of the lineup includes various musical genres such as pop, hip-hop, country, R&B, rock, metal, electronic and even comedy shows. Popular acts include 21 Savage, Alanis Morissette, Cage The Elephant, Janet Jackson, Meghan Trainor, New Kids On The Block, Sean Paul, and Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Typically, the company has offered Concert Week for performances in the United States and Canada, but has decided to expand the sale to other parts of the world, including Australia, some Asian countries, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.
"Live Nation's Concert Week celebrates live events by giving fans an unbeatable opportunity to purchase $25 tickets to thousands of the most sought-after shows," said Kelly Strickland, President of Concerts Marketing at Live Nation to Rolling Stone. "This year promises to be the biggest Concert Week yet."
Tickets will be made available to the general public starting May 8, at 10:00 am Eastern Time in the United States, until May 14 at 11:59 pm local time, or until tickets are sold out. Live Nation also informed that the tickets will not have any additional costs from the company, except for taxes that apply in the cities, states, or places where the performances will be held. Fans will be able to filter the search on the Concert Week site for participating events, venues, or by artists or even set a location in the city closest to their location.
