FTSE 100 Live 23 March: Stocks rebound and oil price falls on hopes of end to war

FTSE 100 Live - (Evening Standard)

Stock markets have staged a dramatic rebound from earlier heavy losses after President Trump today disclosed talks over ending the Middle East conflict.

The FTSE 100 index immediately added about 300 points to stand 0.2% higher at 9963.87, while the price of Brent Crude fell by 8% to $103 a barrel.
