Parents and people living near a Nottingham primary school say parking there has become "absolute chaos". Police say there have been a number of concerned people who have got in touch with them about parking issues outside Bramcote Hills Primary School in Moor Lane, Bramcote, around dropping off and picking up time.
The school has urged parents to park safely and responsibly if they can and have agreed to use specialist CCTV cars in the area to monitor the situation going forward. Police say there are access issues for residents living on Moor Lane near the school who have told Nottinghamshire Live their driveways are sometimes blocked by cars either waiting for the road to clear, or quickly parking up to drop off or collect their child.
One parent, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "I live down the road and my daughters go to the school. At times, it is absolute chaos - it is so dangerous. People park directly outside the school. It's been a problem since before Covid and there's nothing the school can do about it unfortunately, it's up to the parents.
