Ken Urker has died suddenly at 34 after being found unresponsive at his Louisiana home on his birthday, after an extraordinary journey from Gypsy Rose Blanchard's prison pen pal to the father of their young daughter. Blanchard had reportedly texted Urker to wish him a happy birthday but received no response before a family member discovered him.
The death marks a devastating end to a relationship that began through prison correspondence in 2017, survived an engagement and separation, and ultimately saw the couple reunite, build a home together, and welcome daughter Aurora Raina Urker in December 2024.
