Brighton boss Graham Potter refused to be drawn on speculation surrounding Neal Maupay's future amid rumours linking him with a move to Everton.
Reports emerged on Thursday night suggesting the 26-year-old is 'close' to a move to Goodison Park. Sky Sports news claimed earlier today the player has undergone his medical with the club.
He could become the Blues' fifth signing of the summer, joining the likes of Ruben Vinagre, Conor Coady, Dwight McNeil, James Tarkowski and Amadou Onana. However, there have also been some high profile departures with Richarlison joining Tottenham and there's ongoing speculation surrounding Anthony Gordon's future.

Maupay has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs this summer, with the likes of Fulham also linked with the player. However, Marco Silva conceded defeat in their pursuit of the player, admitting on Friday 'he's going to another club'.
Potter, on the other hand, was far more tight-lipped on the player's future, insisting he had 'nothing to add' to the speculation in the media today.
He told his press conference on Friday: “From our perspective there is nothing to report or announce. There is speculation and talks but until anything gets signed and done there is nothing to add."
Everton boss Frank Lampard offered a similar response, with little comment on the rumours. “Nothing, I’m not going to go in on all potential deals," he said in his pre-Brentford press conference.
