Michelle Obama, former first lady of the United States, is now using the example of one of the most important women in White House history to make a statement regarding life in the nation's most recognisable house. Obama, in her essay paying homage to Jackie Kennedy, praised past first ladies for their efforts in changing the White House by considering it as an institution belonging to the country and not as personal property.
It is taking place at a time when President Donald Trump is effecting major changes in the White House.
