His route from South Florida football to the Denver Broncos wasn't an overnight rise, and that's probably what makes it even more interesting. Bonitto arrived in the NFL with obvious physical gifts but plenty left to prove. Over time, the rough edges began to disappear. What remained was a pass rusher increasingly difficult for NFL offenses to ignore.
