The BBC’s best business show (alongside The Apprentice, of course), Dragons’ Den is back on our screens tonight. Joining the likes of Gary Neville, Trinny Woodall, Tinie Tempah and Emma Grede as a guest on the legendary programme, Refy’s co-founder Jenna Meek is in hot seat for tonight’s episode.
The beauty mogul appears alongisde regular Dragons, Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Steven Bartlett, giving four budding entrepreneurs hard truths or hard cash.
Entering the den this week, Zaahirah Adam pitches her dating app where ghosting is banned and a designer introduces their headphone company which encourages kids to view tech as repairable rather than disposable.
Plus, three school friends present their plant-based fermented and picked food brand, while a husband and wife team pitch their tent and campervan awning company.
But will any of them impress the Dragons? Here’s everything you need to know, including where to buy their products.
hati
Zaahirah Adam’s dating app, hati, launched in 2025 as an antidote to ghosting. The app bans text messaging and instead encourages matches to make a five minute phone call to establish an instant spark and connection.
Users have voice and video profiles, rather than static photos, and must be verified and vouched for by three friends to reduce cat fishing. Adam has spoken of her wider mission to change dating app culture, inspired by her own experience with ghosting and its effect on her mental health.
But in such a saturated dating app market, will hati stand out enough to get investment from the judges?
Glawning
Founded in 2013 by James and Sarah Martin, Glawning is a family business that sells luxury, durable and stylish cotton bell-tent awnings for campervans. Designed for all-season use, the tents are touted as durable, waterproof, flame-retardant and fast-pitch in under 10 minutes.
Whether used as a driveaway awning for campervans or a standalone tent for garden parties and camping, the designs blend comfort with practicality. Offering a fresh take on glamping, the company now sell car awnings, wood burners, tarps and more.
Club Cultured
Club Cultured is a London-based fermented food company founded in 2018 by three school friends, James, Harry and former Ritz Hotel and Michelin-star trained chef Connor. Specialising in premium ferments and pickles to enhance your wellness, its plant-based and gut-focused food include tempeh, kimchi, mooli and pickles.
The founders are promoting a “fermentation revolution”, crafting nutrient-dense food that add some fun and healthy flavour to mealtimes. In 2020, they opened London’s first tempeh factory in Hackney and have since produced ferments for some of the UK’s leading food brands, including Wagamama.
Kibu
Developed by the London-based design consultancy Morrama in collaboration with 3D printing company Batch.Works, Kibu creates sustainable, modular headphones for children between the ages of 5-11. A direct challenge to throw-away culture, Kibu designs its headphones without screws or glue, allowing them to be easily taken apart, repaired and eventually recycled.
The headphones are labelled as “STEM” products, not only giving children greater awareness about electronic waste, but teaching them hands-on skills in building and assembling.
