Cristiano Ronaldo's famous No. 7 Portugal shirt has passed to Rafael Leão following the captain's sudden departure from the national team camp, creating one of the most striking images yet of the uncertainty surrounding his international future.

Leão wore No. 7 against Denmark in Copenhagen on Thursday, 1 October, just a day after Ronaldo left Portugal's camp. The AC Milan forward normally wears No. 17, which was reassigned to Fábio Silva for the UEFA Nations League fixture.
